The House of the Hungarian Millennium is an intimate event venue of specific atmosphere. 

The magic of the Golden Age 

The building completed in1885 now is refurbished, and takes guests back to feel the magic of the Golden Age of Budapest.

Colourful rose garden

It is the first time that a colourful rose garden was created in the City Park contributing to the romantic atmosphere of the building.

World famous Zsolnay ceramics

The building itself is decorated with the restored original Zsolnay ornaments, Zsolnay ceramics in the restaurant, on the fountain of the rose garden and rare pieces can be found in the chamber exhibition 

Restaurant, café and terrace

Enjoy the meals selected from traditional Hungarian recipes in this unique location, , enjoying either the indoor or the outdoor seating areas.

Specific location

The oldest building of the City Park stands in the heart of Budapest, in the centre of one of Europe’s oldest parks. Not only the green spaces of the park are being renewed but new cultural institutions also moving soon here to their iconic new buildings (Museum of Ethnography, House of Hungarian Music) in the park.

Easy access

Visitors arriving by car would be able to use the Museum Underground Parking, which can accommodate around 800 cars on three levels.

By trolley bus 70 the House is only a few minute walk from the stop Olof Palme boardwalk, it is not far from the stops of trolley buses 74 and 75 in Ajtósi Dürer Row and Zichy Géza Street. It is a 20-25 minute leisurely walk from the M1 (Millennium Underground) Széchenyi Bath station.
